In this video, I look at the speed camera warnings in a Hyundai – in this case a 2020 Hyundai Ioniq Electric 38kWh. All other Hyundai and Kia models of a similar age will probably be the same.
The Hyundai has speed camera locations within the sat nav. But it also has over-speed detection, so it not only warns if you’re approaching a speed camera, but it also warns if you’re driving too fast.
However, many will use Android Auto or Apple Carplay instead of the built in navigation, so in this video I test whether the over-speed detection still works when using the phone mirroring systems.
