In this video I charge my 2024 Tesla Model Y RWD on a Tesla Supercharger and look at the charging speeds and charge rates. This vehicle is fitted with the LFP battery pack so has a maximum charge rate of 175 kW.
I also charge this to 100% so it does the calibration. This is something Tesla recommends needs doing every week on the LFP battery cars. I do this on the Supercharger and look at how much extra time this adds to the charging.
I also look at the battery degradation of this LFP battery, now that the car is a year old (one year and one week to be exact) and covered nearly 15,000 miles.
