In this video I demonstrate how quickly the Tesla Model Y can cool the internal cabin down. In this example, the outside temperature was 24C (75F) on this warm Spring day in the UK and the internal temperature was 49C (120F). Yet in 4 minutes, the Tesla cooled down the interior to 4 degC below the outside temperature, reducing it by 29 degC. This is a 2024 Tesla Model Y, built in Shanghai and has a heat pump with the very clever Tesla octovalve.
