We’ve given the iconic ’60s hippy bus, the VW Splitscreen Camper, an eco makeover. We’ve converted it to electric by recycling a Tesla motor and battery pack and bolting it in. Now it can keep up with modern traffic and not have all those fumes coming out of the exhaust or into the cabin.
The brakes have been upgraded to discs on the front and coupled to the regenerative braking from the motor it now stops as well as it goes.
