Because Tesla own the Supercharging network, all the information and current status of the chargers is in the car. It makes navigating and deciding when to charge very easy. The prices vary depending on the time of day and how busy the site is. But because my car has lifetime free Supercharging, I do not see that information on the screen in my car. I only see the idle fees as I would still pay them if I hogged a charger.
