Its Thursday 7th December 2023 and two Tesla ships from Shanghai, China have just arrived in the UK loaded with new Model Y and Model 3. There was some doubt if we’ll see the new revised Model Y with the new dash with ambient lighting and new black Gemini wheels. But I can confirm that we’re not getting these yet in December, even though these are 2024 models (identified by the R in the VIN). Maybe we’ll get the mini-revised Model Y in January.
There was also a few new Model 3’s here at the Tesla Staines Collection Centre, but these are still the original model and not the new revised 2024 (project Highland) models. There probably was some Highland Model 3’s on these boats, but probably press and showroom cars still, rather than customer delivery cars.
