Ok there’s no Tesla Vision Pro goggles (yet!) but Tesla Vision Park Assist is always getting updates so here I try out the latest version with my new 2024 Tesla Model 3 Long Range refresh – also known as “Highland”
In my opinion it is at last as good if not better than the cars with Ultrasonic Parking sensors. Seems to judge distances and proximity quite nicely but also shows kerb edges well.
The only issue is small objects low down below bonnet edge/front bumper.
I compare to 2022 HW 3 model 3 to see if HW4 higher definition cameras offer any more.
Also compared to 2019 car which does have parking sensors.
