Take a trip with us to Moab, where we put Utah’s first fast charge station to receive federal funds through its paces.

A relatively modest sumof$200,000 was awarded to Rocky Mountain Power (RMP) for this crucial site, which serves an area that receives approximately two million visitors every year. More and more of them are arriving in electric vehicles, which makes high power, trailer-friendly stalls, and trailhead access of this site all the more appealing.

The RMP Moab location was installed as part of the utility’s ongoing partnership with Electrify America, which is similar to those we see with EVolve New York (NYPA) and APS in Arizona. This session aligns with most of our EA sessions over the summer, hitting close to peak eGMP power at the first dispenser we tried.

Stick around after the charging session for a sneak peek at Arches National Park and some of the breathtaking sights we took in during a brief visit to the area.
