The model used by the character Aladeen in the movie The Dictator will be commercialized with a limited number of only ten cars.
The Dictator is an American comedy movie, directed by Sacha Baron Cohen, inspired by the book Zabibah and the King by former Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein. In the film, the character Aladeen is the supreme leader of Wadiya, a fictional country in the Middle East with huge oil reserves.
The gold-plated armored SUV is Aladeen’s main means of transportation. This special car is manufactured by Dartz – a famous Russian tuning company. Initially, Dartz only produced three Cars to serve the filming process.
One of them appeared at the premiere of The Dictator in May 2012 in London (UK). However, many wealthy people wanted a car similar to the Aladeen Dictator, so the tuner built 10 more and sold them on the market.
The commercial name of this special model is Dartz Motorz Prombron The Dictator Aladeen Edition MMXXII. The car is modified from the Mercedes-Maybach GLS prototype. Unlike the car in the movie, which is only painted in yellow, the commercial version of Dartz Motorz Prombron The Dictator Aladeen Edition MMXXII will be inlaid with real gold.
