The windscreen scuttle drain tubes on a Renault Kangoo II (& why the easily block up)

The Renault Kangoo can suffer from blocked windscreen scuttle drains, which if left can cause water to enter the vehicle, make the carpets and floor wet, damage the heater and cause condensation and mould. It’s more likely if vehicles are parked near trees where falling leaves and debris soon collect in the drain channels.
On all our vehicles before they go out, we remove the wiper arms, scuttle tray and trim to clean out the drain channels to make sure the issue does not arise for the new owner. In this video, I show the drain channel tubes and why the block.
