In this video I come up with a cheap and easy way to protect your ABS sensor (or wheel speed sensor) cables underneath your vehicle.
Regular viewers may remember that back in January I shared a video (see https://youtu.be/6AG_JXZZQ7c?si=zLKrNrj8ycthl0Hm) where I went into London to look at a customer’s Nissan E-NV200 van that had problems and then I found it was caused by a fox chewing an ABS sensor cable underneath. This is quite a common problem and all vehicles can suffer this damage if you have urban foxes lurking around your car. Possibly cats could chew on the cables too.
So this is my cheap and easy to apply solution to protect your ABS sensor cables from foxes.
You may want to consider doing this before you experience a damaged wheel sensor cable. A damaged cable will turn off all the safety systems in the car, such as traction control, stability control, ABS and more. It will save you an expensive repair.
