In this video, I show you how to use the radio together with Android Auto in a Hyundai Ioniq EV 38kWh. It is possible to have the radio playing in the background, although you can’t have any radio controls in the Android Auto display. As long as you don’t have the default media playing running in Android Auto, the radio will still be playing, even though the AA media player will be on the screen next to Google Maps.
