In this video I look at what is under the bonnet in a 2021 Toyota Proace Electric van. The same vehicle is also a Vauxhall e-Vivaro, Opel e-Vivaro, Peugeot e-Expert, Citroen e-Dispatch and a Fiat Scudo. Like their diesel counterparts, these vans are front wheel drive, so the electric motor is at the front under the bonnet, with the charger and inverter systems. The high voltage traction battery sits underneath the floor between the axles.
