Winter range in a Maxus eDeliver 3 (EV30) electric van with the smaller 35kWh battery

In this video, I drive a Maxus eDeliver 3 electric van with the smaller 35kWh battery in the winter, to test the range. These vans are also called the Maxus/LDV EV30 in other markets. The 35kWh model typically does around 100-150 miles range. They also are available with a larger 52.5kWh battery, which typically does around 150-200 miles per charge.
In this short test, I’m driving in the UK winter, in the snow and wet, in 1 degrees C temperatures, with the heating and heated seat on. Plus I’ve sat running the heater for an additional 25 minutes, yet still did 32.5 miles using 33% of the battery, which makes a 98 miles range. Without running the heater for 25 minutes, this would be over 100 miles.
