Subaru Impreza STi 22B Recreation review: Real Gran Turismo Restomod built to order. The 22B was a limited edition Impreza STi sold in 1998 to commemorate 40 years of subaru car company and three WRC titles. 400 were sold to the Japanese Domestic Market, 16 in the UK and a couple in Australia.

Today these conservatively rated 280bhp 2-door wide-bodied Imprezas have become close to £300,000 cars. As a result ProDrive has announced their P25 edition, which is limited to 25 cars and priced at £500,000. Ouch. So, a company called Scooby Clinic decided to start building a recreation of the legendary 22B at a fraction of the price. Jonny needed to see their rural operation (conveniently on a muddy farm track, just like a rally stage) and drive one of these boxer turbo homages.
