In this video I review the mesh or net type of under seat air vent cover. I think these are better than the plastic grilles as they’re easier to fit, do not rattle, do not get dislodged if they are kicked and they also do a good job of holding the two carpet pieces together.

Why are these needed? Its all too easy for rubbish (such as stones, coins, pens, sweets etc) to fall into this air duct channelling and then it will rattle. But it’s extremely difficult to remove items from the ducting as they can fall beyond reach and it could result in the car interior being stripped out to remove items from the air ducts.
