This time we’re out in this stunning 1989 G-body Porsche 911 converted to electric (obviously) using one of our bolt-in conversion kits. It now boasts more power than the original petrol engine, with a Tesla motor out the back. The 60kWh battery pack gives it around 180 mile range and with the rapid charging it really makes it a practical everyday super car that you can drive and enjoy on any journey, long or short.
Total weight is the same but now the weight distribution has improved the handling is soooo much better. No more light front end understeering in the wet on tight corners, or snap oversteer. The handling and feel is more like a mid engined car, like a Porsche Cayman.
