Toyota has electrified the Hilux. No, really.
For decades, the Hilux has built a reputation as one of the toughest and most dependable pickups on the planet. From farms and building sites to some of the harshest environments imaginable, it’s earned a loyal following by simply getting the job done.
Now Toyota has taken that formula and added a battery.
In this video, Nicki Shields gets behind the wheel of the all-new Toyota Hilux EV to find out whether an electric pickup can still live up to the Hilux name.
