WET FUSE!?! | 2013 Tesla Model S Repair

Video by BenjaminNelson via YouTube

After removing the battery from the Tesla Model S 85, we take a look at what could have caused the error to shut down the car.

SPOILER! It was water in the High Voltage Fuse Box!!!

We pressure tested the pack, found multiple leaks in the fuse cover. We removed the fuse and found standing water under it. Yipes!

We also removed the "Penthouse" cover and found water and corrosion inside.

We dried-out the battery overnight with multiple fans blowing on it and running a dehumidifier. The next morning, it was dry as a bone.
