Tesla promised a post=delivery tow bar option for the Model 3 since the launch of the vehicle in 2019 here in Australia. I’ve send many emails to Tesla, requesting a price and availability time for the promised feature. The standard reply was always that there is neither ETA nor price point available…
After two years of chasing up the promised post delivery tow bar installation, I finally gave up and researched other options. The Tesla Owner Club Australia is working with installers to bring customers finally the desired feature for their Model 3. For a few months, we have the option of getting a tow bar installed by a company a bit north of Brisbane. As a special service, they offer an installation service at your home address. TOCA members also will get a discount on the installation.
So, here is may day, driving via Mt Glorious and meeting with Nick from Positive Auto Power in Burbengary.
I’m very excited that it will finally happen!
