When you think of large executive saloons, you default to the German brands of BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Audi. Many others have tried, yet ultimately failed, to emulate them, let alone topple them. Yet in the EV world we know that some of the newer, much younger, and dare we say it, less obvious brands have had considerable success in winning over the younger generations. So can the relatively new Genesis have success where some others haven’t in muscling into the large saloon arena and make waves? With the new Electrified G80 they certainly hope so. But what chance do they have? Bryan took a Sneak Peek at the car at the recent Goodwood Festival of Speed to find out of it has what it takes.
